Tuberose

Tuberose

A sensual, heady floral. Native to Mexico and once known as ‘bone flower’ because the petals are so white. Once it started being used in Europe it gained a botanical name which translates as “Friend of the night.” Tuberose oil is one of the most expensive of perfumery materials. The extract is full-bodied and powerful. One of the reasons it is such a muse to perfumers comes from its balance of creamy sweetness with fresh, green camphor. Tuberose is one of the few flowers that continues to produce and exhale perfume long after it has been picked. Smell it in….Lunar Bud.
